I always think this time of year is a great chance to take a breath, check in with how things are going, and get everything in order for the months ahead.

If you're a fellow small business owner or sole trader like me, you’ve probably noticed a few changes already – things like National Insurance adjustments, updated minimum wage rates, and tweaks to business reliefs. Nothing too scary, but definitely worth keeping on top of.

For me, this time of year is all about resetting goals, reviewing budgets, and making sure the books are looking healthy. It doesn’t have to be overwhelming – a few small steps now can save a lot of stress later!
